My old car. It had a resonator delete, the 20v NA i5, and was probably the slowest car I've sat in for around 5 years. I loved it.

1993 is the year to have, it's the only year with the carbon fiber trim interior.

More importantly, it's a very, very smooth car. Mine was almost entirely stock, it had a chip and a K&N filter, but that's it. Really comfortable and held the road extremely well. I still say it had the most comfortable seats of any car I've owned. I daily drove it for a little over a year before I had to move and sell it.

It held the road really well. It's still (relatively) big 90's sedan so it lumbers a bit. At the same time I lived a total dream and owned the "Big 3", the E34 M5, the W124 500E, and the C4 UrS4 and it was the most tossable car, it felt lighter even with the Quattro AWD, and it wouldn't dive into a corner as bad as the heavy front V8 500E did. It didn't feel like I could win at any autocross events but it wouldn't let me down on a curvy road or darting around in traffic. The Quattro gave a ton of confidence that the M5 didn't have since it was so tail happy. The whole package was just great. I'm a bit of an Audi nut (I've owned 5 now) and of those 3 90's super sedans my overall favorite was the 500E, but if I was going to re-buy any of them it would be the S4, it's that much fun.

I like them so much when I saw one in traffic the other day I snapped a pic, mine was black on black just like this one. I've got a horde of pics hiding in some folder somewhere at home of the one I had.
